		<description>This story is almost my story. I wasn&#039;t that much overweight but I came down from 245 pounds to 175. I tried all kinds of diets at first and none worked for the long term. I knew I needed to exercise but jogging just was not for me. I was advised to walk and this was the great turning point in my quest for weight loss and fitness. I gradually extended the distance of my daily brisk walk. I ate a healthy diet of mainly vegetables salads,beans,nuts and just a little lean meat and fish. The pounds melted away. It took a year but I am now lean and fit and I will stay that way. I advise anyone who is serious about losing weight to get walking.It works for me.</description>
